It has a built-in LED to illuminate the front surface of the switch. All icons are laser-etched engraved onto the surface of the switch which will not fade easily. 

• 20 Amp 12 Volt 4-Pin Momentary On/Off Rocker Switch.
• LED Backlit (blue). All symbols are laser engraved, will not wear off.
• Black hard surface rocker. Surface size is 2″ (50mm) x 1″(25mm). Standard size mounting hole 1.41″(36mm) x .86″(22mm). This is the standard switch size for modern vehicles. 
• Upper LED will light up when the switch is turned on. Lower LED is independent and can be wired to your dash light circuit. 
• Waterproof rating of IP66.
